The Climate Justice Working Group in 2014 brought an Africa-focused lens to existing U.S. climate and environmental justice movements.
The first project was to introduce an African perspective to the U.S. fossil fuel divestment movement by highlighting the long-standing resistance to fossil fuel corporations in the Niger Delta through a speaking tour with Nigerian and U.S. activists.
